Lodhi Dynasty: 1451-1500 AD

Lodhis were of Afghan origin. Bahlul Lodhi established himself in Punjab after the Timur's invasion. Latter he took over the Delhi kingdom from the Sayyids.
The Lodhis controlled the Ganga Valley as far as Bengal. They moved their capital from Delhi to Agra. Ibrahim Lodhi was overthrown by Babur in the first battle of Panipat.
